How It Works

From the first water test to clean water at every tap, here is exactly what happens and how each system works.

Step 1

Free in-home water test

Jorge comes to your home and tests your water with you at the kitchen table. You see the results for yourself and get a plain-words explanation of what is in your water and what it means for drinking, cooking, showers and appliances.

  • No cost and no commitment
  • City water or well water
  • Takes about 30 to 45 minutes

Step 2

How a whole-home system cleans your water

Water from the street passes through several layers inside the tank before it reaches any faucet in the house:

  • Pre-filter: catches sand, rust and sediment
  • KDF media: reduces chlorine and heavy metals
  • Activated carbon: removes chemicals, bad taste and odors
  • Ion-exchange resin: reduces hardness that leaves scale on fixtures

Step 3

Reverse osmosis for drinking water

For the cleanest drinking and cooking water, a reverse osmosis unit goes under the kitchen sink. Water is pushed through a very fine membrane plus several filter stages and stored in a small tank, ready at its own faucet.

  • Sediment and carbon pre-filters
  • Reverse osmosis membrane
  • Optional alkaline and UV stages

Step 4

Professional installation and handoff

The install is done cleanly, usually in a single visit. Before leaving we test the water again, check every connection for leaks and show you how your system works and when filters are due.
